Coming from Ireland with a deep curiosity about my roots, I moved to Mexico to study Architecture at Tecnológico de Monterrey, seeking to explore my Mexican heritage and the region’s rich architectural traditions. As part of my academic journey, I recently completed a year abroad at the University of California, Berkeley, an experience that broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of architecture’s cultural and social impact. My work focuses on materiality, with a particular emphasis on traditional and vernacular building techniques. Through hands-on projects and research, I strive to create architecture that is deeply connected to its context, sustainable, and engaging on a sensory level.
